Shorecrest Chargers Middle School Girls Soccer vs. Seffner Christian: 3-0 Win!
The Chargers dominated the play against Seffner Christian in their first home game of the season. Eight minutes into the game Sophia S. '30 was fouled inside the 18 yard box and scored off a penalty kick beautifully placed to the top left corner of the net. Later, one-touch passing and teamwork by midfielder Kai E. '30 allowed Sophia S. '30 to get the ball on a breakaway and score a second goal, just moments before halftime. The Chargers continued to challenge the Seffner defense throughout the second half of the game. A third goal with 10 minutes left to play was scored by Sophia S. '30, earning her a hat trick for the game. Credit for the shutout goes to Laine C. '30 in goal, who handled minimal shots with ease and grace. Congratulations to the team for the win!

Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Northeast High School: 8-0 Win!
The Chargers offense was on fully display Thursday night, scoring 3 goals in the first half and 5 goals in the second half on the way to a decisive win over Northeast High School. Three goals were scored by Scout Brummett '26, two by Kaja Dionne '24, one by Annabella Rozin '24, with one of the goals knocked in by the opponent. The defense displayed a solid understanding of controlling the play and switching the direction with the midfield applying pressure at both end of the field.
