Weather Expert Visits Fourth Grade

Fourth grade was visited by a guest expert last Thursday. Heather Heitzman is Lead Meteorologist at Delta Air Lines and a Shorecrest Parent.
Mrs. Heitzman led a conversation about weather with a slant towards extreme weather, because that was a fourth grade informational reading topic that overlapped with their current inquiry topic - sustainability. Her visit included a hands-on demonstration of making a cloud!
