Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Girls Basketball vs. St. Stephen's Episcopal School: 44-15 Win!
The Chargers brought the energy they needed and should replicate against tougher teams. Eve Bonnemort '25 had 14 points.

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Calvary Christian: 8-49 Loss.

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Manatee HS: 18-54 Loss.

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Hollins HS: 18-43 Loss.

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. CCC: 15-59 Loss.
CCC's guard play is tough to compete with. The Chargers need to continue to work and trust the process.       

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Braden River HS: 6-34 Loss.
The Chargers had great 2nd and 4th quarter defense, but need to be intentional about putting the ball in the basket.

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Countryside HS: 13-49 Loss.

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. St. Pete Christian: 12-35 Loss.
The girls played hard for Bella Hursey '24 on Senior Night!

Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Calvary Christian: 52-64 Loss.
The Chargers started out slow and got behind by 16 points. The team clawed back to cut the lead to 7 by the 4th quarter but couldn't overcome the deficit. Nickolas Bearden '25 had 31 points.                                       

Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Manatee: 64-67 Loss.
The team came back from a 20 point deficit to tie the game but couldn't sustain the effort to come out on top. Nickolas Bearden '25 had points, Ahmad Crumity '25 had 12 points and Enrique Negron '25 added 12 points.

Varsity Boys Basketball vs. St. Petersburg Catholic: 63-42 Win! 
It was the last regular season home game. It was also Senior Night for Luke Heckert '24 and Cem Eralp '24. The score was close in the first Quarter (13-8.)  Shorecrest had a five point lead. Midway through the second quarter the game got tighter. The score was 18-16 in favor of Shorecrest. By the end of the second quarter, Shorecrest had an eleven point lead with the score being 29-18. The Chargers never looked back after half time. Nickolas Bearden '25 led all scorers with 34 points. Luke Heckert '24 and Cem Eralp '24 won their last home regular season game by 21 points.   

JV Boys Basketball vs. Manatee: 44-51 Loss.

JV Boys Basketball vs. Calvary Christian: 22-74 Loss.

JV Boys Basketball vs. CCC: 22-62 Loss.

JV Boys Basketball vs. Tampa Prep: 27-47 Loss.

Middle School Boys Gold Basketball vs. Keswick Christian: 33-21 Win!
The Chargers started the game slow but picked up the pace in the second half. After a solid fourth quarter both defensively and offensively they cruised to the win. 

Middle School Boys Gold Basketball vs. Northside Christian: 29-37 Loss.

Middle School Girls Basketball vs. Cambridge: 13-16 Loss.
The Chargers MS Girls Basketball Team hit the road to take on Cambridge Christian. A spectacular defensive performance gave the Chargers an opportunity to take the last shot of the game. Lexi T. '29 and Valeska T. '29 led the SPS offense.

Middle School Girls Basketball vs. Keswick: 3-34 Loss.
The MS Girls team struggled offensively but fought hard on defense. Sanya P. '29 and Giselle S. '29 had 9 rebounds, 2 blocked shots and 12 steals combined.

Middle School Girls Basketball vs. Northside Christian: 16-41 Loss.
The MS Girls Basketball Team wrapped up their season. Kira D. '29 ran point guard effortlessly and assisted Valeska T. '29 and Lexi T. '29, who knocked down 4 shots from the 3-point line. Defensive stops by Giselle S. '29, Phoenix F '30 and Sanya P. '29 kept the Chargers in the game. 

They celebrated their season of team building and friendship watching the talented women play at Eckerd College.
