Interact Club at One Step Closer to the Cure 5k / 10k

The Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation hosted the One Step Closer to The Cure 5k/10k on September 6. For the previous two years, The Interact Club has volunteered at the event and it has gone extremely well. Again, this year, Interact had a good turn out of members and everyone had a great time. Students set up water stations along the track and handed out water to participants. They also gave out medals at the finish line.
Members of the Shorecrest community joined Team McNeill at the race, in support of survivor and Charger Mom Shannon McNeill.
It was really great to see all of the racers try and beat their time from previous years and see new faces come out and support the cause. We can't wait to see more members out there next year!
