Florida State History Fair Results

Upper School News

Last Sunday, four middle school students traveled to Tallahassee to compete in the Florida State History Fair that was held Monday on the Tallahassee Community College campus where they competed against other students representing 31 other Florida counties. Out of roughly 64000 entries, only 1100 made it to the state level competition. For the opportunity to compete at the state level, the four history scholars had to have placed either first or second in their respective categories at the Pinellas County History Fair on February 27.

Congratulations are extended to seventh graders Cal B and Oliver H for placing first in their category and now have been invited to compete in the National History Day Competition at the University of Maryland in June. Well done!
