Inspired by the Wish Tree Art Project by Yoko Ono and the Dali Wish Tree, Shorecrest has added a Wishing Tree to the faculty garden, which is now part of the Experiential School play area. A wishing tree is essentially an individual tree which has been selected to be used by a community to express wishes until the branches are full. Faculty and Staff enjoy hanging colorful ribbon from the tree this summer, and Experiential School families kicked off the wish making after orientation.
Chargers can leave a wish on the tree any school day after dismissal carline.
