Cross Country at Regionals

The Cross Country team concluded their season this past Friday, November 2. The Girls varsity team ran in the Regional Finals in Gainesville and came up just shy of qualifying for the State Finals. Needing to place in the top 6 teams, the Chargers placed 7th missing out by a narrow margin of only 3 points. Between the 5th through 9th placing teams, only 12 points separate the teams.
The girls ran a great race. Isabelle Saunders '20 placed 21st and Lili S '25 placed 22nd, followed by Sabrina Aboud '22, Brooke Wright '22, and Lizzie Camp '22 rounding out our top five finishers.
Both the boys and girls teams had a very successful season and improved their times along the way. The team is excited for next year and is looking forward to continuing their success during the upcoming track season.
