

Chargers Sign to play College Athletics

Shorecrest now has eight members of the Class of 2019 who have signed letters of intent to play at the college level in their respective sports.
On Wednesday, three more seniors celebrated their collegiate athletic commitments. Renice Dacres ‘19, State Champion in the Triple Jump, will be playing basketball for Barry University in Miami, FL. Karlie Kongsiri ‘19, the Class of 2019 Salutatorian, will sail for the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and RJ Ayers ‘19, Captain of the Shorecrest football team and State Runner-Up in the Shot Put, will play football at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
These three student-athletes join Sophie Elywn ‘19 (diving, Brown University), Dominic Hoefer ‘19 (diving, Southern Methodist University), Lily Schneider ‘19 (sailing, University of South Florida), Elizabeth Shanahan ‘19 (sailing, Boston College) and Jacqueline St. Cin ‘19 (volleyball, University of South Florida) in continuing their athletic careers at the next level.
