Dr. McLemore Joins Google Certified Innovator Program

The Google for Education Team and Shorecrest Preparatory School would like to celebrate Dr. Caitlin McLemore, Shorecrest’s Middle and Upper School Librarian and Technology Specialist. McLemore was recently accepted into the Google for Education Certified Innovator program through a highly competitive process. She joins a community of more than 1,700 passionate educators in over 50 countries who advocate for innovative technologies and drive school transformation.
The Certified Innovator program is a 12-month professional development experience including mentorship, online learning activities, and a face-to-face Innovation Academy focused on helping new Innovators launch a transformative project related to a challenge or opportunity they see in education.
Caitlin says she is “excited to connect with other like-minded educators, learn from Google how to better serve my school community, and work on ideation and innovation!”
The Innovation Academy will be held October 2-4 at Google NYC.
