Shorecrest seniors Guthrie Braun '22 and Ethan Danielson '22 have been named Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. They were recognized for exceptional scores on the 2020 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
Commended Students place among the top 50,000 scorers of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2022 National Merit Scholarship competition, scoring in the top 3% nationwide.
Guthrie and Ethan join classmates Christian Bepler '22 and Emily Forney '22, who were named National Merit Semifinalists.
