Swim and Dive at Regionals

The Varsity Girls and Boys Swim and Dive Chargers competed at the 1A-2 Region Meet on October 30. The Shorecrest Girls earned 154 Points - for 5th Place. The Shorecrest Boys had 138 Points - for 6th place.
"In what is a very competitive Region, we were able to make a great showing as a team and we are very proud of our overall finishes for both the boys and girls teams," shared coach Patty.
Sarah Lankford '22 placed second in the 200 Free, placed third in the 500 Free - and qualified for the State Meet in both events. Sasha Schratwieser '23 placed 6th in the 200 Free and qualified for the State Meet; Maddox M. '26 swam 4th place in the 500 Free and qualified for the State Meet.
Individually, all of the following Chargers qualified to represent Shorecrest at the 1A State Meet: Sarah Lankford '22, Sasha Schratwieser '24, Ainsley Burke '23, Kate Rutledge '24, Stella Pagano '22 and Maddox M. '26.
The Girls 400 Free Relay (Sasha Schratwieser '24, Kate Rutledge '24, Ainsley Burke '23, Sarah Lankford '22, Stella Pagano '22-alternate) also qualified for the 1A State Meet.
