Varsity Volleyball 2nd at District Semifinal

The Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Volleyball team took on St. Pete Catholic at the District Quarterfinals at home. They won 3-0 (25-13, 25-4, 25-13)!
Maria Happ '24 had 18 kills, 4 digs, 2 blocks; Lillee Burkett '23 had 7 digs, 5 kills; Kate Craig '24 had 15 digs, 3 aces; Bella Hursey '24 had 8 kills, 2 blocks, Brynn F. '27 made 32 assists, 6 aces.
Next the Varsity Volleyball team played Calvary in the District Semifinals. They lost 0-3.
"There were several long rallies and some incredible plays," said Coach Draper, "but the Chargers came up short to advance in the playoffs."
Maria Happ '24 had 8 kills, 6 digs, 1 block; Bella Hursey '24 had 4 kills, 1 block; Christina Satterfield '25 had 4 kills, 4 digs, 2 aces.
The Chargers finished their season 21-4.
