Shorecrest School

THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MOVIE NIGHT

Lower School News Middle School News

The Chargers spirit could be felt under the stars on the Gaffney Green as more than 600 members of the Shorecrest community gathered for the second annual Shorecrest Community Movie Night on February 24. Families shared picnic dinners, enjoyed food from food trucks, visited with friends, and more prior to the outdoor showing of “Sing 2.” Community Partners from local businesses brought extra fun to the mix, including a surfer-inspired photo booth from Woodie’s Wash Shack and delicious food from Jay Luigi.

The fun did not stop there! We kicked off our centennial year with a community video followed by remarks from Head of School, Nancy Spencer, and an early opening of the silent auction for the Shorecrest Luau: The Little Event 2023. When the sun began to set across campus, it was time to grab some popcorn, find a place to sit, and close out the night watching “Sing 2” with friends and family.

Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Woodie's Wash Shack for bringing some EPIC fun to our Movie Night! They have an exclusive offer for the Shorecrest community:
$10 off a monthly membership with no expiration date, for as long as you hold the membership. Enter “Shorecrest” in the company field to redeem.
Thank you to SCA for their partnership and the parent volunteers who helped make the night a great success!

When is the next Movie Night? Next year, of course!
SCA is already starting to plan for next year. If you are interested in learning more about volunteering with SCA at Shorecrest for future events, visit https://www.shorecrest.org/sca.
