Art Ellie Style

Ellie R., a second grader new to Shorecrest this year, has started her own art business and it is thriving! By taking advantage of the flexible learning program’s very flexible schedule, she has time to work on art commissions during the day. Ellie has had dozens of orders placed for custom watercolor paintings from all over the country, many from strangers - and she even got a nod this week from Drew Barrymore! She has sent her work to Maine, New Hampshire, Colorado, California, Texas, North Carolina, Minnesota and beyond! 

Ellie is making a splash for a 7-year-old in the child art community. Much of her current art features mermaids, and she made a green and gold mermaid cheerleader especially for Shorecrest as one of her first masterpieces. Her favorite subjects in school are reading and art.
