As the longest running college all-star game in the nation, the East-West Shrine Game has been woven into America’s football tradition for 90 years. Shriners created the East-West Shrine Game in 1925 to help children and families in need. They dedicated the game to raising awareness and support for Shriners Hospitals for Children, a national network providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and teaching programs for medical professionals. Children up to age 18 with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of the families’ ability to pay.
