SWIM & DIVE REGULAR SEASON ENDS ON A HIGH NOTE

Chargers Swim & Dive ended the regular season with the traditional Senior Night activities – a wonderful dinner at the pool with the underclassman and coach sharing their thoughts about each senior, cake and then some fast swimming. At the break, the seniors and their parents were recognized with a reading of their accomplishments and parting words, a bouquet and a Shorecrest embroidered towel to remember this final season.

The girls team had some great swims with the following winning two events each: Hannah B. (50 Free, 100 Free) and Courtney C. (200 IM, 100 Breast).
Winning one event was Clara W. (100 Back). The 200 Medley Relay (Clara W., Courtney C., Taylor E. and Hannah B.) and 200 Free (Courtney C., Alyssa F., Clara W. and Hannah B.) both took first place.

The boys team had a great night winning all three relays: 200 Medley (Misha M., Pablo C., Caleb K. and Jake A.); 200 Free (Jack L., Pablo C., Max K. and Jake A.) and 400 Free (Joseph B., PJ F. , Jack L. and Caleb K.).
Joseph B. (200 IM and 100 Free) won both of his events and Caleb K. (200 Free), Pablo C. (500 Free), Jake A. (50 Free), Misha M. (100 Fly) and PJ F. (100 Breast) and won one event each.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP MEET
GIRLS – 1ST PLACE, BOYS – 3RD PLACE
Shorecrest Middle School Swim Team had a great year and capped it with a first place finish for the girls and a third place finish for the boys at the Middle Division Championship Meet hosted by Tampa Prep.
The girls team had three second place relay finishes with the 200 Medley (Brenna D., Mariyah S., Stella P. and Devyn K.); the 200 Free (Ellie L., Brooke W., Rose L., Gabi H.) and the 400 Free (Devyn K., Brenna D., Mariyah S. and Stella P.).
Medaling individually were Gabi H. (1st – 100 Free); Mariyah S. (2nd – 100 IM, 3rd – 50 Breast); Devyn K. (2nd – 50 Free); Stella P. ( 2nd – 50 Fly, 1st – 200 Free); Brooke W. (2nd – 200 Free); Brenna D. (2nd – 50 Back). Great job girls!
