SHORECREST CHARGERS CONTINUE DISTRICT DOMINATION

Both the Chargers girls and boys teams were victorious this past weekend at the 1A-5 District Swimming and Diving Championship Meet. This was the Chargers' 16th consecutive District title! Their overall total was 889, a whopping 375 points more than 2nd place.

The boys team scored 467 points to second place Out-of-Door Academy at 380 points. They were led by the 200 Medley team (Misha Muskepo ‘20, David Sartania ‘20, Joseph Brockman ‘20, Michael Longino ‘20) with a first place finish, Joseph Brockman ‘20 who won the 500 Free, and by Kieran Herlihy ’22 who won the diving competition.

The girls team scored 422 points to best second place St. Stephen’s (297). The girls won the 400 Free Relay (Emery Camp '20, Ainsley Burke '23, Kate R. '24, Sarah Lankford '22). Sarah also won the 200 Free, and Stella Pagano ‘22 won the 100 Fly.

So many more contributed points to the overall scores and the following have moved on to represent Shorecrest at Regionals:
