Reading Week in Lower School

This week, everyone in Lower School celebrated Reading Week. At Shorecrest, we are a community of readers. It is through books that we learn about ourselves, others and the world around us. During Reading Week we celebrate our shared love for reading books and storytelling. All that students do that week - dressing up as their favorite book character, picking out great books at our Oldie Goldie Book Sale, field trips to Haslam's Book Store, attending a special presentation by a Kamishibai storyteller,and reading together outside - is meaningful, fun and memorable.
