Spanish Class Gets a Little Bit Rowdy

Lower School News

This week, the third and fourth graders had special Hispanic visitors. Two of the Hispanic soccer players on the Tampa Bay Rowdies team came to the Spanish classroom and talked about their country and job to the children. They were Junior Burgos and Juan Guerra, and the children as well as the visitors were really excited! It was really nice to see how the visitors encouraged the children to take a risk and try to ask them questions in Spanish! Then the Rowdies featured photos on their official Spanish Twitter page.

Thank you for coming and sharing with our students! We'll be cheering you on in our green and gold, Rowdies!

As the Official K-12 School of the Rowdies, all Shorecrest Faculty, Students and Families may purchase $10 General Admission, Lower Goal Reserved, and Corner Reserved tickets to all 2016 home matches. [more]
