MS Summer Trip 2015 - Informational Meeting

If you are interested is the MS trip with Mr. Collins out west, he will be hosting an informational meeting in his science classroom on Wednesday, January 7^th, at 5:30pm. Come with questions or to learn more about the program.

Steve Collins, Middle School Life Science teacher, is organizing a seven-day trip out West this June to explore the canyons and wild landscapes of northern Arizona and southern Utah. This will be his fifth year running a Shorecrest MS summer trip.

Working in partnership with the outdoor adventure firm, Grand Classroom, Mr. Collins and the students will immerse themselves in the geologic and biologic wonders of the desert southwest. Highlights will include hiking into and tent-camping within Havasu Canyon on the Havasupai Indian Reservation, visiting the south rim of the Grand Canyon, and exploring the sandstone formations and slot canyons of Zion National Park.

The trip will depart from Tampa on 6/4/2015 and return 6/11/2015.
