National History Day at State

Middle School News

Last Sunday, eight Middle School students traveled to Tallahassee to compete in the Florida State History Fair that was held Monday on the campus of Tallahassee Community College. The students competed against other middle school students representing 31 other Florida counties.

For the opportunity to compete at the state level, all eight young scholars had to have placed either first or second in their respective categories at the Pinellas County History Fair on March 7.

Congratulations are extended to Walker W, Sophie E, and Olivia O for placing second in their respective categories and now have been invited to compete in the National History Day Competition at the University of Maryland in June!
