Author Visit in Fifth Grade

Fifth grader Aidan S brought in a published author for his monthly book write-up project. Author Jerry Przybyla shared his courageous story of escape from Poland with his best friend during the height of Communism. Eventually becoming an American citizen, Jerry shared with the fifth grade students the story behind his private and powerful memoir.
