Middle School News


The annual Middle School Science Fair took place last week bringing energy and enthusiasm to the Student Activity Center all week. A total of 73 projects from 6th and 8th grade students competed 8 different categories. All projects were judged by three of our 20 volunteer judges. The list of judges included professionals from USF, USF St Pete, Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, The Tampa Aquarium, Tampa Bay Watch, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, as well as teachers from Shorecrest. The judges enjoyed looking at the variety of projects and the quality of content they contained.

We are proud of our students' efforts to utilize the scientific method! Winners in their categories are:
