Fifth Grade Music Performance

The 5th Grade Music Performance celebrated 50 years since the release of the beloved musical film "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang." Students sang featured songs from the film including "You Two," "Hushabye Mountain," "Doll on a Music Box / Truly Scrumptious," and of course the title song, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang."
For their finale, the fifth graders sang a song from a show that is currently on its way to the Broadway stage. Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Godspell, Pippin) has been developing a stage version of the animated film "The Prince of Egypt." The students were delighted to have a chance to sing the featured song called "When You Believe" which meant they had to learn to sing a section in Hebrew!
