Seventh Grade Music Prank

As Monday was April Fool's Day, MS Music Teacher Mrs. McCarthy gave the seventh grade Music students a written assessment that was actually a fun prank! Students were asked to take a music notation assessment in complete silence within seven minutes. The timer was set, then little by little they were able to decode a message on their paper that revealed the wording, "Go to the front of the class and show us your best air guitar performance for two minutes." It puzzled quite a few of the students at first, especially those who were taking longer to decode the message. They had no idea why other kids were walking up to play air guitar! It ended with everyone able to join in the fun.
Join them in the Janet Root Theatre on May 9 at 2:25pm for the seventh grade Music Performance. (No air guitar required, but you may want to tap your feet and sing along!)
