History Teacher wins grant for Summer Dickens Seminar

Please join us in congratulating Shorecrest US History Teacher Ron Heller for receiving a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant to attend a four-week NEH Summer Seminar for teachers on Charles Dickens this July in Santa Cruz, California!
The NEH Summer Seminar, “Charles Dickens:Hard Times and A Tale of Two Cities,” received 46 applicants for just 16 available seats. "Your application materials were impressive and engaging, and I know that you will make a valuable addition to the seminar." Heller heard this week.
