The Kindergarten classes have been studying organisms, both plants and animals. In this study they created classroom aquariums and terrariums. Currently those models of the land and water on earth hold only plants. This week they learned about two organisms that they will be responsible for keeping safe in their woodland terrariums: millipedes and pill bugs. The children studied diagrams about these two organisms before they looked at them up close with hand lenses and some even held the organisms for a closer, more hands on experience!
