Senior's Play to be Produced in Sarasota

Senior Savannah P was selected as a winning playwright in the 2015 Young Playwright's Festival for her entry, OBSTRUCTION, in the category of SEVEN UP. Being selected is quite an honor. This year, over 3,300 plays were submitted, and only 15 playwrights were selected!
All winners receive a professional production of their play as part of the Sarasota Festival of New Plays, Saturday, May 9, 2015.
Savannah along with seniors Matthew J and District 4 Critic's Choice winner, Alice D, will be competing at the Florida State Thespian Festival in Tampa this week. The three students were awarded the top three positions at the District Thespian Festival in December, which qualified all three of them to represent Pinellas County at State Thespians.
