Interact at Rotary BBQ

Upper School News

On Saturday, April 11th, a number of our Interact officers went to the Sunrise and St. Pete Rotary Club's barbecue. Proceeds will benefit Shelter Box USA. Jordan W., Jared H., Zack S., and Max K., took a photo standing in the opening of one of the shelter box tents. These are donated to locations where people have lost their homes due to natural disasters and violent situations. These shelter boxes cost $1000, which includes delivery and set up all over the world. Interact hopes to get involved with this nonprofit project next year.

Interact Sponsor Mama Newt said she was very proud of how the students represented Shorecrest! Special thanks to Randy Swanson and the St. Pete Rotary for donating 6 tickets to our Club.
