Fall Food Drive *updated*

Upper School News

The Shorecrest Fall Food Drive has launched benefitting the St. Petersburg Free Clinic Food Bank. We have collected over 3100 pounds of food! Our goal was 2000, and thanks to the entire Shorecrest community, we blew that out of the water! Donation bins are located in the Media Center, The Experiential, Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. Our final collections will be amassed on Monday.

Please consider donating the following items:
  • peanut butter
  • boxed mac and cheese
  • oatmeal, especially individual packets
  • whole grain cereal
  • brown or wild rice
  • whole wheat pasta
  • low or no sodium canned vegetables
  • no sugar added canned fruit
  • low sodium pasta sauces/canned tomato sauce
We are also looking for toiletries, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo, lotion (especially travel sizes) and feminine products. Finally, we are looking for diapers and wipes; diapers can be opened, wipes should be unopened. All donations are welcomed and appreciated.

If you have any questions, please contact our new Director of Service Learning, Mr. Diego Duran-Medina at [email protected] or call 727-456-7510.
