XC at IRC Invitational & FSU Invitational

Congratulations to our top finishers at the Indian Rocks Invitational, held on October 1 at Taylor Park in Largo.
Sabrina A. 2nd place in the Girls JV race with 24:16
Gregory G. 4th place in the Boys JV race with 21:26
Sophia V. 7th place in the Girls Varsity race with 22:00
On Saturday, October 3, the Varsity teams competed in the FSU Invitational, also know as Pre-state as it is held on the FHSAA state meet course. Both teams ran against some of the best competition in the state. Senior Luke P. ran in the Elite (top tier) Race and finished 21st with a time of 16:02 - a new personal and school record. Junior Olivia R. finished 10th in the Select (2nd tier) Race with a time of 19:50.
