To celebrate the holidays the French way, seventh and eighth grade French classes learned how to make chocolate truffles. First they watched a French cooking video, and then students followed a recipe in French to make the batter. After allowing the chocolate to set in the fridge overnight, they made little balls and rolled them in powdered sugar, sprinkles, or, like traditional truffles, cocoa powder. Many of the truffles did not make it to the end of class, but some were taken home to share with family and friends.
