Senior Send-off

On Friday, April 29, the Shorecrest senior class gathered for the Senior Send-off, an event sponsored by the Shorecrest Alumni Association.
With just sixteen days left until Commencement, this event marks the beginning of the end-of-year festivities for the Class of 2016. After being welcomed by Alumni Association president Chas Reynolds '81, the class dined on lunch while listening to a panel of three young alumni from the class of 2011 speak about their own transitions from Shorecrest to college and beyond. Ryan Dougherty '11, Tanja Gromadzki '11, and Alexis Galinski '11 were excited to come back to campus to speak to the soon-to-be young alumni and fielded questions on everything from dorm life to finding internships.
Following lunch, the senior class headed outside, where the Class of 2016 bricks on the Alumni Walkway and the Senior Banner outside the Janet Root Theatre were unveiled.
