Dr. Jay Epstein visits Center for Medical Sciences

On February 21, anesthesiologist Dr. Jay Epstein '84, a Charger parent and alumnus, spoke to Pre-Med Club members and students taking Mrs. Peck’s Anatomy and Intro to Medical Sciences classes.
Dr. Epstein graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and he is now affiliated with Anesthesia Associates in Clearwater. As well as speaking to the students about medical school, Dr. Epstein spoke about the field of anesthesiology, including how he decides the amount of anesthesia a patient needs and his responsibility during surgery to watch the patient’s vitals. Mrs. Peck and the students who attended thank Dr. Epstein for coming and are grateful for the opportunity to have learned about his field.
