Shorecrest Swim & Dive Concludes Successful Season

Shorecrest Swim and Dive Chargers finished up the 2018 season with a very successful 1A State Meet.
Congratulations to Caleb Kravitz '20 on his first place finish in the 500 Free with a blazing 4:29.27, which is an All-American consideration time and a new school record!
Joseph Brockman '20 finished 22nd in the 200 Free and 19th in the 500 Free. The boys 400 Free Relay (Caleb Kravitz '20, Misha Muskepo '20, Michael Longino '20 and Joseph Brockman '20) finished 13th.
The girls team was outstanding as well with a 15th place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (Emery Camp '20, Ainsley B. '23, Taylor Emerson '19 and Sarah Lankford '22) and in the 200 Free Relay (Claire E. '23, Ainsley B. '23, Shannon Ross '21 and Reagan Quilty '19). The 400 Free Relay (Taylor Emerson '19, Claire E. '23, Emery Camp '20 and Sarah Lankford '22) was 14th. Sarah Lankford '22 was 15th in both of her events (200 and 500 Free) and Taylor Emerson '19 was 20th in the 200 IM and 15th in the 100 Fly. Great job by the entire Chargers team!

The Swim & Dive Banquet was held Sunday, November 25, in the Shorecrest Athletic Center. Many thanks to our volunteer parents for putting together such a lovely evening for the swimmers, divers and their families!
