Chargers 15, Clearwater Central Catholic 8
The Chargers came alive on Friday, March 22, with a 15 to 8 win against CCC. Dorothy Cenedella '21 pitched the win with Asha Swann '21 coming in to earn the save. Rachel Ford '21 led Shorecrest’s offense, going 5 for 5 with five singles in the first, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth innings and bringing in 3 RBIs (runs batted in). Asha was also a big contributor to Shorecrest’s 19 hits, going 3 for 4 on the day with two doubles and four RBIs. Ashlee Burkett '19 (3), Taylor R. '23 (3), Dorothy (2), Lili Arasimowicz '21 (2) each also had multiple hits on the day.

Chargers 1, Admiral Farragut 16
The Chargers managed to push one run across as Asha Swann scored on Rachel Ford’s RBI single. Asha, Ashlee Burkett, and Rachel Ford led the Shorecrest offense, all going 2 for 3 at the plate. Taylor R and Dorothy Cenedella each added one hit to the day.

Asha and Jaina Swann '22 each pitched two and a half innings with Jaina picking up 4 strikeouts and Asha picking up 2 strikeouts.

Chargers 9, Northside Christian 6
Asha Swann picked up 11 strikeouts in Shorecrest’s 9-6 win against Northside. Asha also had a great day at the plate, leading Shorecrest’s offense and going 3 for 4 with a homerun, a triple, and four RBIs on the day. Lillee Burkett also had a great day at the plate, going 3 for 4 with one RBI. Ashlee Burkett, Dorothy Cenedella, and Jaina Swann each contributed two hits to the Chargers’ win.

Up Next: Shorecrest will take on Indian Rocks Christian at home this Friday, March 29, at 4:30pm.
The Chargers will play Keswick Christian, St. Stephen’s Episcopal, and Clearwater Central Catholic next week.
