Shorecrest’s Mission is augmented by the generosity of our parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends who support the school philanthropically or by effecting change locally, globally or right here at Shorecrest. We call these community members Contributing Chargers.
This week we recognize Lindsey and Patrick Lamb as Contributing Chargers. Lindsey and Patrick are current parents of Bennett ’29, Nolan ‘31 and Sawyer ‘34.
Lindsey and Patrick have supported the school with their time, talent and philanthropic support. Last year Lindsey served as Co-President of SCA and this year, she joined the School’s Advancement Committee.
“Every single year, we make a very conscious choice to send our children to the best school in the area - and for us, it is Shorecrest. Being part of a community that cares that much about the education of their children is invaluable to our family.
Each of us has made special, enduring bonds with members of this community. The Shorecrest community is our support system through hard times and our biggest cheerleaders in good.
Our monetary gifts, as well as our gifts of time and talent, bolster our school's sense of community. Because we give of ourselves, our children are able to thrive in a school environment that supports each of them as learners and members of society.
Our family feels that when you give back to this community it means that we are giving to each other and making our school a better place for all of our children and the generations to come. We are setting an important example for our children to become the next set of leaders.”
The impact of Contributing Chargers like Lindsey and Patrick Lamb and the members of our community can be felt every day.
