Myra Simpson, Director of College Counseling, Elected to NACAC Board

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the voice of the college admission counseling profession, recently announced the results of their Annual Member Vote, which elects their Board of Directors. Myra Simpson, Shorecrest’s Director of College Counseling, was one of three new Board Members elected. 

Founded in 1937, NACAC is an organization of more than 26,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. NACAC provides a number of essential resources and services to college counseling professionals and postsecondary admissions professionals.

Myra and the other new members of the Board begin their terms of office after NACAC Conference 2023 and will serve for three years, from 2023-2026.

The Board of Directors features dedicated leaders from across the college admissions community who help steer the organization. These experts are elected by eligible voting members of NACAC. For more details visit the NACAC website.
