Community Sponsor Spotlight: Oasis Pavers and Pools

Advancement

When Shorecrest reached out to Brian and Hailey Godden, owners of Oasis Pavers and Pools, the timing seemed right to discuss the possibility of becoming community sponsors. The couple had a lot of customers whose children go to Shorecrest, and according to Brian, “For the last year or two we were thinking about how we could be more involved in the community.”

Oasis Pavers and Pools was a visible presence at St. Pete STEAMfest, hosted at Shorecrest on October 26. They fit right in with the festivities with branded tents and popular activities including a snow cone machine and face painting station that drew long lines from the crowd that topped 600.

“It was the first time we ever did anything that big, and it was a hit,” says Brian. “The crowd was great and seemed to be having a great time; and it was neat to see a lot of our previous customers.”

The company, which was voted the #1 Pool Builder by Tampa Magazine this year, is
committed to “improving the quality of life in our community, one beautiful space at a time.”
Oasis focuses on new construction as well as swimming pool renovations; and received requests for appointments from five STEAMfest attendees, illustrating the business and marketing benefit of the sponsorship.

Although this was the Goddens’ first experience with Shorecrest, there’s a good chance it won’t be the last, according to Brian. “The more you learn about the School, the more you want to be involved. We felt very welcomed by the staff; and all in all the event was very positive and left us feeling grateful for the opportunity. Based on our experience so far, we would love the opportunity to work with Shorecrest in the future.”
