Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Football beat Donahue Catholic 43-0 at the Homecoming football game!
The Chargers faced previously undefeated Donahue Catholic and had another dominating performance by the defense. Donahue Catholic entered the game averaging 44 points and 454 yards per game. Led by a relentless defensive line, the Chargers suffocated the Donahue offense from start to finish, allowing them to enter the red zone only once during the game.

Special teams also contributed as Noah Kacimi '26 both blocked and returned a punt for the game's opening touchdown. Nickolas Bearden '25 had three punt returns for 62 yards also provided good field position for the offense. Wes Ryan '24 had his best career night with 9 receptions for 115 yards and 1 touchdown, and Nickolas Bearden added one of his best all around games as he rushed for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns, passed for 154 yards and 1 touchdown, and ended 2 Donahue drives with interceptions.

The Varsity Football Chargers ended their regular season with a record of 9-0 and will open the playoffs at home on Friday, November 3 at 7pm at home on Haskell Field. Entry is $8.
