Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Academy of Holy Names: 1-0 Win!
A successful penalty kick by Addie Oman '24 in the first five minutes put the Chargers in the lead of what would become a crazy match between two equally skilled teams. While the opponent played with more possession, the Chargers played with more determination to finish with a win and a clean sheet. The win was secured by a strong performance from the back line of Payton Thompson '25, Maddie Needler '25, Chloe Nuss '26, and Jenna Friedman '27, with goalkeeper Sonoma Kasica '24 making more than one save to keep the Chargers in the lead.
