Grandparents Tour Art Festival Beth-El

Grandparent Council Arts

On Monday, members of Shorecrest's Grandparent Council attended the 51st Annual Art Festival Beth-El. Art Festival Beth-El showcases over 170 national and international award-winning artists in six galleries throughout the facility. It is an invitational, judged, indoor and outdoor exhibit and sale of original artwork including painting, photography, mixed media, glass, sculpture, metal, wood, ceramics, and jewelry.

The Festival also features selected works by talented emerging artists from Pinellas County’s seventeen public and private high schools, including Shorecrest. The Art Festival awards scholarship money to the schools of the winning students.

Shorecrest grandparents enjoyed a docent-led tour of the Festival and saw works by talented Shorecrest Upper School Visual Art students.

Thank you Karen Lieberman, Jan Sher and Abby Sterensis '02 for setting up this wonderful event!
