Shorecrest Chargers Varsity Baseball vs. Academy at the Lakes: 4-8 Loss.
Varsity baseball split the season series with Academy at the Lakes with a 4-8 loss. Chargers highlights included Wes Ryan '25 going 3 for 4 at the plate and a 2-run Home Run by Eli Thomas '25 in the 7th. Jake Diner '25 collected one hit, and also pitched 4 and 2/3rds giving up 1 earned run. Ed Sax '27 and Cooper Register '25 finished the game on the mound for Shorecrest.
Varsity Baseball vs. Carrolwood Day School: 3-2 Win!
Chargers Varsity Baseball defeated 5th ranked Carrollwood Day 3-2 in dramatic fashion. The Chargers struck in the first inning when Beau LeCain '27 singled followed by a 2 -run Home Run by Eli Thomas '25. Carrollwood tied the game 2-2 in the 3rd where it remained at the end of regulation. In the bottom of the 8th, Thomas singled, Wes Ryan '25 was hit by pitch, Jake Diner '25 was intentionally walked and Jamie V '28 drew a walk to score the winning run. In addition to Thomas and LeCain, Ryan, Chris Booth '25 and Kyle G '28 each had hits. Thomas threw 7 innings giving up only 1 earned run, and Cooper Register '25 finished the 8th inning for the victory.
Varsity Softball vs. Tampa Catholic: 1-11-1 Loss.
Sonia Anderson '26 brought in the score.
Middle School Softball vs. Indian Rocks: 15-0 Win!
A solid win behind Georgia S. '30 who pitched eight strikeouts, Maëlle G. '30 as catcher, and Paige C. '29, who hit two Home Runs! It was also a great game for first time player Grace K. '29.
