On Sunday, November 12, Shorecrest hosted the National History Bowl and Bee for the fifth consecutive year. Schools from as far away as Winter Park descended upon our school for a day of challenging competition at both the JV and Varsity levels.
Roughly 200 students competed in Landy Hall, the Upper School ST wing and the SAC. Big thanks goes out to Upper School history teacher Ron Heller for his enthusiasm and arrangements for the event. He excitedly reported, "It was great to see our students compete and rank 11th and 13th in the Central Florida region!"
