Shorecrest Upper School students in AP Psychology class are finishing up a unit on learning how Pavlov's ideas of classical conditioning and Skinner's ideas of operant conditioning relate to our learned behaviors in everyday life.
Christine Bauhs of K9 Holistics visited the class and taught them about classical and operant conditioning in dog training. Nikki Lovesky ‘20 practiced some of these techniques with a patient, hungry, and furry volunteer, Hamish.
