Gothic Game in English 11

Eleventh graders at Shorecrest Preparatory School played a gothic game in English class that was apropos for October. The game featured questions regarding Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven" and "Annabel Lee" as part of their unit on Dark / Gothic Romanticism in American literature. The game focused on developing reading comprehension, endurance, and fluency as well as poetry analysis, genre, citations, and the ability to situate texts in a historical chronology.
