The boys varsity golf Chargers conclude their second straight undefeated season with a solid showing at the State Finals Golf Tournament.
Our team battled it out on the extremely tough El Campeon course at Mission Inn. Junior Greyson P. was tied for the lead after the first round with a 2-under par score of 70. Justin J. had the second best score on day one, 78. Karim O. fired 81, Kyle M. 93 and Chris P. 102.
The second round course conditions proved to be equally as tough as day one. Greyson shot a 77 and finished 4th in the state, a spectacular feat, with a two-day total of 147. Kyle and Chris both bettered their first round scores on day two. The team total was 651, good enough for 8th place out of the 16 team field.
Congratulations to our wonderful golf team on their accomplishments this season. Well done!
