Fifth Grader Olivia M Greets Governor

When the father of fifth grader Olivia M received a call last week from the Governor's Assistant saying Rick Scott was coming to town and wanted to meet with his company, GeniusCentral, he decided that bringing Olivia along would be a great opportunity for her.
First, Olivia greeted the Governor when his motorcade arrived, and then she got to speak with him for about five minutes about volunteering with birds of prey. Governor Scott asked Olivia what she liked about St Petersburg, and she said she loved her school, Shorecrest. He mentioned her in his remarks and invited her to the subsequent press conference. She was then part of the video aired about the day by Inside Pinellas.
