Mr. B Gets All Wet!

Students in Mr. Brelsford's sixth grade math classes spent this past Thursday or Friday attempting to complete a challenge, "How much water can fit in one of the classroom trash baskets? If you can come up with an accurate volume, you can dump the water on Mr. B!" Students spent the first part of class measuring and calculating to come up with their estimates, they had to reach a certain level of accuracy indicated with a line on the trash can. While many groups came very close to the line, there was only one group that successfully estimated the volume of the trash can and was able to dump a trash can full of water on Mr. Brelsford.
