MS Water Bottle Challenge

Middle School News

The Water Bottle Challenge is an advisory competition that encourages students to stop using single-use water bottles and instead use reusable water bottles. The challenge consists of advisories reaching 100% students and teacher with reusable bottles for which they need to maintain at 100% for 5 school days.

The challenge started with the eighth grade teachers challenging the eighth grade students on
March 10th

The first 8th grade advisory to achieve 100% for 5 days occurred on
April 13th, more than one month later. A few eighth graders challenged the fifth graders, and they whipped the eighth graders by completing the challenge about three weeks quicker! Mrs. Tatelbaum's fifth grade advisory accepted the challenge from 8th grade and completed the Water Bottle Challenge in the first five days! To support their fellow 5th graders, they are continuing with the challenge for a grade level win.
